The Planning Commission has estimated the water demand of 1180 BCM in 2050 with domestic and industrial water consumption expected to increase by 2.5 times.
Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organising an International Exhibition on Water Purification, Recycling and Supply from 10 to 12 February 2011.The event will focus on areas where there is a need for better Infrastructure and management concerning issues regarding Water. There will be an emphasis on standardization of equipments / systems in this sector as well as Quality Testing Laboratories and their rating.
